Preservation Bath Annual Lecture and Awards

Preservation Bath, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Bath County’s history, culture, and authentic places, will host its annual lecture and awards event on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 4 p.m. at the Holstein Barn at Old Dairy in Warm Springs.

The McWilliams/Wildasin Preservation Awards recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations whose efforts have helped preserve and promote Bath County’s historic character. Preservation Bath will present its Activist, Legacy, and Heritage Preservation Awards during the event.

The 2026 Preservation Bath Lecture will feature Debra McClane, an independent consultant in architectural history and historic preservation, and Laura Purvis, principal of Purvis Historic Preservation, who will discuss Traces on Spaces: Examining Our Historic Districts’ Hidden Stories.

The lecture and awards presentation is free and open to the community. All are welcome to join Preservation Bath in celebrating Bath County’s history and historic preservation.
