Moseymore Lavender Farm

Step into serenity at this newly established lavender sanctuary where 1,000 plants paint the hillside in waves of purple and perfume the mountain air with nature’s most calming fragrance. Owners Teece and Doug Nowell—she with degrees in both horticulture and mental health counseling—intentionally created this space for restoration and joy. The farm’s name itself whispers its purpose: “mosey more”—slow down, breathe deeply, let stress dissolve. Stroll through the fragrant lavender rows with scissors in hand to cut your own fresh bouquets, explore 1,200 feet of flower gardens bursting with roses and hydrangeas, then settle into Adirondack chairs beneath the ancient oak trees with refreshing lavender lemonade. The farm shop offers handcrafted products made on-site including herbal teas, soaps, lotions, and cleaners—all infused with their homegrown lavender and herbs. Open Friday-Sunday 10 AM-4 PM or by appointment, Moseymore delivers exactly what Bath County visitors crave: a place to leave stress behind and reconnect with simple beauty.
